Seven Areas. One Practice.

For individuals, families, family offices and businesses throughout the United States.

“For five decades, Friedberg has built trust and rapport with clients by helping them navigate the complexities of wealth management and trust and estate planning.”

Chicago Community Trust Annual Report

The practice

Michael’s practice is centered on the preservation, administration and transfer of substantial family wealth. The individual practice areas often overlap: sophisticated planning may involve trusts, closely held businesses, family governance, charitable interests, fiduciary responsibilities and ultimately the administration of estates and trusts.

The result is a practice in which planning, administration and fiduciary judgment are viewed as parts of a whole rather than as separate legal disciplines.
